Shannon Mills is a sound designer and supervising sound editor. Born and raised in Indiana, Mills began his career in film sound by working alongside some of the industry’s most renowned talents. Starting as a sound librarian at Skywalker Sound, he quickly transitioned into roles supporting Christopher Boyes, Gary Rydstrom, Richard Hymns, and George Watters. For eight years, Shannon served as Gary Rydstrom’s right-hand man, honing his sound design and editing skills. He later expanded his career, taking on independent projects while continuing to collaborate with mentors Chris Boyes and George Watters. Today, he works as a freelance supervising sound editor and sound designer, bringing his expertise to a wide range of films.
